Panda Conservation Package
Book the Panda Conservation Package Online Today
When you book accommodations with the Days Inn Connecticut Avenue, a partner with FONZ® (Friends of the National Zoo), you have the opportunity to support giant panda conservation while enjoying an unforgettable family vacation or business trip.
When Tai Shan—the wonderful panda cub born at the Zoo on July 9—goes on public exhibit on December 8, the Zoo will operate a system of timed tickets to accommodate as many visitors as possible, minimize long lines, and avoid over-crowding.
People who book this Washington, D.C. hotel package will get special treatment. Once the cub is on public exhibit, each Zoo Welcome Kit given to guests at check-in will contain a ticket admitting up to six people to the Fujifilm Giant Panda Habitat at any time during their stay—an extra special reason for booking your stay at one of the hotels participating in this great program.
A portion of each reservation will be donated to the National Zoo's Giant Panda Conservation Fund. This fund supports science and conservation efforts in the United States and China to save giant pandas from extinction. In addition, you'll receive a Zoo Welcome Kit at check-in.
